Cancellation conditions

We always recommend that you take out good travel insurance.

It may happen that you have to cancel the holiday due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, the booker or his deputy must report this in writing or by telephone. In most cases, costs are associated with a cancellation or change. In addition to the reservation and other costs due, the following applies: • In case of cancellation up to the 90th day before arrival: 15% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 90th day to the 60th day before arrival: 50% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 60th day to the 31st day before arrival: 75% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation from the 31st day to 1 day before Arrival: 90% of the rental price; • In case of cancellation on the day of arrival or later: 100% of the rental price.

Cancellation by Finca Gordo:

In the event of force majeure, both permanent and temporary, the B&B Finca Gordo is entitled to dissolve the agreement in whole or in part or to temporarily suspend it without the guest being able to claim performance and/or compensation: A. Under force majeure, including, but not limited to: danger of war, war, uprising, molestation, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, traffic or transport, measures taken by government roads, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and furthermore all circumstances, extraordinary weather conditions, B. Death of one of the owners or close family members, etc., as a result of which full or partial compliance with the agreement cannot reasonably and fairly be expected from the B&B Finca Gordo. This also applies in the event of cessation of business and/or sale of the property.

Changes: If a guest wants to change an agreement, this can be done up to 30 days before arrival. After changes, the booking may not be cheaper than the original booking. Change fees may be charged for these changes.

Instead: If the reservation is completely transferred to a third party, the booker must notify Finca Gordo of this in writing. Change costs will be charged for these changes. Amounts already paid will be deemed to have been paid by the acquiring party. The transferring and acquiring parties must arrange this mutually.
